GENERAL TILING

We undertake all forms of wall and floor tiling, indoors and outdoors. Our professional methodology and attention to detail reflects our years of experience within the industry. We provide a start to finish service, including the removal of existing tiles and preparation of surfaces, for example levelling floors. We provision all fixing materials and are happy to work with any type of tiles, such as ceramic, porcelain, mosaic, and all types of natural stone (marble, limestone, granite, basalt, travertine, etc).

We have worked on a huge variety of projects, including domestic housing, London hotels and restaurants, listed buildings, and several commercial enterprises and mainline and underground stations.

TILING ONTO WOOD

Due to their nature, wooden floors are prone to all sorts of movement such as bending, bowing, and stretching. In comparison, ceramic tiles are composed of a rigid material, which if fixed directly to wood will cause endless headaches when the tiles start to lift and crack.

Due to advances in technology, we no longer need to tile directly onto wooden floors. Instead, we carefully select the appropriate underlay from an array of products available to us. If the height of the floor is a concern, this is no issue; we have at our disposal a lateral movement mat that is a mere 2mm thick.

Also, if you are considering under floor heating, we use a 10mm thermo-board that reflects the heat up to the tiled surface to prevent it getting lost in the sub frame. It also dampens all movement, allowing for a movement free and therefore crack free floor.

GROUT REJUVENATION

If your grout has discoloured, or is looking old and lifeless, give us a call to arrange a quote for a new service we are offering. Using a range of epoxy based grout colourants, we can re-colour your grout to the colour of your choice. Once applied, this colourant gives a grout joint that is uniform in colour, bacteria repellent, and much easier to clean. This service is applicable to both wall and floor tiles, an the products come with a 15 year manufacturers guarantee.
